Major Pentatonic Scale
dd

Major Pentatonic - This is a very popular scale
in rock, country, and blues. It works well over all major chord progressions
.

Guitar Playing Tip - Pentatonic scales are scales with five notes. (In fact, the term pentatonic is derived from old Latin; "penta", or five, tones.) Pentatonic scales are known primarily for the "bluesy" sound they suggest, but have been long used by blues, rock, and jazz musicians alike. Pentatonic scales are generally heard on one of two modes: major and minor.
